Creative Blogger Award

Thank you to Emma for nominating me for this award. I’m sorry it took me so long to post this… Some things are worth waiting for?

The rules are:

1. Thank the person who gave this to you.
2. Copy the logo and place it on your blog.
3. Link to the person who nominated you.
4. Tell up to six outrageous lies about yourself, and at least one outrageous truth – or – switch it around and tell six outrageous truths and one outrageous lie.
5. Nominate seven “Creative Writers” who might have fun coming up with outrageous lies.
6. Post links to the seven blogs you nominate.
7. Leave a comment on each of the blogs letting them know you nominated them.

Here are my six outrageous lies and one truth, or one outrageous lie and six truths.

• I learned how to speak Siobani, the elven language in Lord of the Rings.

• I have trapped and eaten beaver.

• I’ve driven the wrong way on a one way street.

• I’ve went skydiving on my 30th birthday.

• To celebrate my 32nd birthday, I pierced my bellybutton.

• I’ve been in every state west of the Mississippi.

• My spirit animal, the bobcat, appeared to me when I was 12.

And I’m nominating:

Kaily Hart
Jinxie
HC Palmquist
JA Saare
Helen Hardt
Lia Slater

These are truly creative writers, and I can't wait to read what they’re going to say.
So go ahead and guess, which one the lie? Or which one is the truth?

Leave your guesses in the comments for a chance to win a $5 gift certificate at The Wilder Rose Press. If there is more than one person who guesses correctly, I'll put their name in a hat and let my four year old draw one out. I'll pick a winner June 15th!

An Award!!!

Thank you Kaily for tagging me for this award. I have to answer 5 questions with 5 answers and tag 5 other bloggers to do the same. So here goes!

Question 1. Where were you five years ago?

1. I was living in a 2 bedroom apartment with 5 children and my sister.

2. I worked in Accounting.

3. Although I'd been writing for a few years, I was just beginning to really learn the publishing industry... I still am. ; )

4. I was 15 pounds lighter than I am now!

5. I was engaged and considering quiting my job to stay home and write full time.

Question 2. What is (was) on your to do list?

1. Lose 10 of those 15 pounds! (I was too thin before)

2. Spend more quality time with my kids.

3. Finish my current WIP before summer vacation starts.

4. Change the number of hours in a day to 30 (I'm copying this from Kaily).

5. Get my garden weeded.... they keep growing back, darn it

Question 3. What 5 snacks do you enjoy?

1. Toast

2. Dry cereal

3. Crackers (detect a theme here?)

4. Is coffee a snack? COFFEE, COFFEE, COFFEE

5. Chocolate... come on did you think that wouldn't be on the list?

Question 4. What five places have you lived?
Mmm.. how about if only list those where I've lived for more than 6 months? (My mom was a gypsy)

5. Write full time and invest in my career by taking classes, going to conventions, learning, learning, learning.
