If you've taken the time to visit my blog lately, you may have noticed I've dropped the ball--repeatedly.
I've always written my blogs about a month ahead, leaving a few blanks for spur of the moment posts or events. That way, I don't have to worry about them. Well, the last few weeks have shown me exactly what happens when I fall behind and am in the habit of not worrying.
Half written posts, unedited posts... oh my
I don't mind dropping the ball occasionally, even if this is a most embarrassing public dropping of the ball. I mean it happens. This is life. I am the sole caregiver and provider for 4 children, with a house, garden and my sanity to maintain. A few dropped balls is just a part of it. I've even been quoted as saying that I just try not to drop the same ball over and over again. Well. Plop. Plop. Plop. The same damn ball.
So you have my apologies and I swear, I'll try to continue to provide you with the witty, informative and enthralling posts which you've come to expect from me.
Is that laughing I hear?
Okay, for you, my friends, colleagues and peers: Your Monday Morning Pick-Me-Up.
And to show you I'm truly sorry, a twofor (sp?).

Love the pictures. ;)
It's easy to get sidetracked. There is always something going on. If anyone gets that, I do!
Jaime
All is forgive for cookies like these!!! {{Hugs to you honey}} Been there and done that many times. You know, I think my ball kinda likes being dropped every once in awhile! =)
*snort. Oh, my... such a lovely blog today... I have no idea what you said, but the picture are lovely! LOL No, really don't you have a bunch of kids? C'mon, life is busy... blog when you can and keep up the eye candy.
Jaime, Cecile and Catherine, thank you! I love you guys, really I do! And, I'm glad you enjoy the eye candy.
Catherine, wipe your chin. ; )
OK, so I couldn't get past the part where you said you used to write your blogs a MONTH IN ADVANCE! Are you kidding me? THAT'S some superwoman stuff right there. As a mother of 4, I know how it goes. Some days it just doesn't. Don't sweat it. No-one else will. BTW, how did he get stuck in the sand like that? And can we leave him there?
Thanks Kaily!
You want him to stay in the sand? I have to confess I'm a little jealous of the sand. : )
I've been dropping the ball for the last two months, so I hear you! Great pics -- you're totally forgiven :).
*hugs* Lynne...you know I think you're superwoman, so I think you've been doing just fine. And the pics definitely clean the slate. ;D
See, I have a dirty mind. A very dirty mind. I figured his face is a certain height from the ground, right? Captured audience if you know what I mean. LOL.
Kaily, I like how you think!
